</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (AKADriver @ Nov. 07 2002,10:20)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">There are at least 3 different SR valve cover designs... flat and short, humped, and flat and tall are the ones I've seen.

The flat and short come on the 'high port' engines (S13, B13, P10, N14, etc)

The humped style come on the 'low port' RWD engines (S14, S15)

The flat and tall style come on the 'high port' FWD/AWD engines (B14, B15, P11, N15, etc)

I think the later styles were designed for improved oil control and rocker arm clearance, because these are the engines that would come with VTC or NeoVVL, so oiling the valvetrain is a bigger priority.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
also i think the "roller-rocker" motors needed the height also (b15's 2000+g20's and some newer JDM sr20de's)
also i believe that all fwd SR20DE's 95(maybe 94?) are low-port...(my 2001 is for sure)
