Being Automatic has no bearing over whether or not you should go turbo.
You will have more power loss at the crank, but it shouldnt be a problem. What turbo setup are you using? If you say SSAC or one off ebay, just save your money. |

well it's just seems like your asking if a turbo kit will work on an auto tranny, but I love my turbo now and it was totally worth the time and money, do alil research and do it right. remember you get what you pay for, and it's hella cheaper sometimes to just piece your own kit together

my plan its to get all the pcs one by one and put them together, well now I feel better knowing that my car will do just fine with a turbo even with my aut tranny.

Just go 5spd man. I am selling a whole conversion for cheap minus tranny.
As far as upgraded torque converter, I dont know. I dont fuck with autos. And with a T25 laying down 250hp, expect 200-225. Get a bigger turbo if you want more. |

yes just google for it lol or go to KAT.ORG but in my opinion if you plan to run a t25 is not really worth it on the KA just get a t3 and be happy lol

You clearly have A LOT to learn regarding turboing your KA. Research it first and submerge yourself in information before you buy anything or else you will just blow your motor. Seriously man, you needed to ask if a turbo would work with an auto tranny? That in itself says it all. And for 250 hp you will definitely need more than a T25 lmao.

+1
At least you're admitting you're a beginner at this and not trying to rattle of opinions/nonsense as facts, but especially if you're thinking about piecing together a turbo kit, you really need to do more research before you get anywhere. And don't always look to upgrading your engine to be "faster." Getting a differential (assuming you don't have one), and lightening the chassis will give you an edge off the line. Anyway, research, research, research. NissanPerformanceMag is a good place to go. Check out the Revenge of the Nerds section. It actually requires more effort to create a thread than to read and click buttons. |

If your car is mostly stock, I wouldnt worry about putting a turbo on it anytime soon. Do springs/struts, sways, strut bars. Then brakes, wheels, tires. Then exhaust, clutch, lsd, maybe a 5 speed swap then think about boost.

Fuck a T-25, get yourself a T3/4, they can be had for fairly cheap now since everybody wants GT-series turbos now. Get a better torque converter or better yet, do a 5 speed swap, then get your turbo kit together and get a decent tune for it.

do a 5 speed swap. then a turbo.
but turbo can be done on a auto car. just get s13 cams, 300zx fuel filter, walbaro pump if yours is old, and a adapter for intake. if you do go turbo on a auto your going to need alot of power just to get off the line. because ppl with 5spd na ka's are going to take you. civics can still take you.

and yes, the x member and the motor mounts are the same exact, use whichever ones are in better condition, or if you have the cash, get nismo hard rubber mounts and tranny mount, iyou will be happier with the nismo mounts.
that is why this engine swap is so popular/easy. everything bolts in
