last year of the 180sx, s13 chassis. Basically take a 240sx s13, change the logos to 180sx, change the motor to an sr20, and change the front bumper a wee bit.

dont forget the Type X spoiler!  there are a bunch of replicas on ebay and jspec gets the spoilers sometimes too.

It's also got S14-like front seats with a repeating "180SX" pattern on them, and red gauge needles.

Were the later model 180sxs (kouki) still 4-lug, or did they ever convert them to 5-lug? I know (or am pretty sure) that chuki (1994+) 180sxs were still 4 lug, but what about the last generation (1996+?)? Were they still 4 lug?

all 180sx were 4 lug
from beginning to end. same with s13 silvia

Don't forget. 180sx also had different shocks/struts. Bigger brakes (from maxima). Nicer wheels. Sideskirts.

edit: Sorry meant to say the 180sx Type X, Only reason why I know this is because I had the front clip of one sitting in my driveway for a while. Unfortunatly the bumper was unrepairable. However it did look beautiful. kinda sorry now that I threw it away. I should of at least make a mold of it.

The side skirts were an option... well, part of the Type-X package.  There were kouki 180SX's without the side skirts or wing (they usually went together).
