Hey Guys... First off, Please forgive my newbishness. This is going to be my first go at wheel fitment.
I have a BONE stock S13 Silvia. I am looking at picking up set of Work Emotion D9Rs (and coilovers). If my research on this subject have not led me astray, I think I can fit: Front---18x8.5+32 245/40 Rear--- 18x10.5+23 285/30 I am willing to roll, but would like to avoid pulling the fenders. I am not looking to drop this thing on its belly. As long as there is no poke, I will just lower the car as far as I can on the setup I go with. Does anyone have any examples of this or opinions on this setup? Thanks! You guys have already taught me a ton. |

haha... I was basing that off of a picture I saw of a setup running 18x10 +44 275. D9Rs dont come in 10".
Looking at another picture, I see that 10.5 is going to be very pokey.... What do you think about 18x9.5 +30 with 275s? |

That was probably Broadfield's car. He didn't have to pull the tears then because he was still at 4x4 height. When he finally lowered it properly, it required a 25mm pull

It was his. If I were confident that I could pull them as well as he did, I would have no problem with a pull. My fenders would probably look like bacon though. |

A 10 +44 can fit at a tall height, but a 10.5+23 is going to stick out 27mm more than that.
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator# Depending on what you're actually doing with the car, I'd skip the 245/285 stagger, too. If it's just for looks then it's whatever, but generally for an s-chassis a square tire setup is what you want. |

Thank you for the input. The car will be a fair weather street car with the very occasional track day. I want maximum grip. For that I just figured that max contact patch was the way to go. Can you explain what makes square setups better? |

Idk if this counts as maximum fitment, but it's a decent amount of rubber.
Rear is 18x10+15 with 285/35 Nitto NT01's. -1.5 camber. ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hey everyone, finally got my Work Wheels in this past weekend (ordered back in December!!).
Specs: 18x9.5 E +12 // 18x10.5 E +24 Going on a 98 240SX with FA coilovers. What size tires would you guys recommend for a CLEAN look (meaning minimal camber AND not sticking out past the fenders). I do plan to roll/pull the rear and hopefully just roll the front fenders but would be willing to pull the fronts as well. From hours of searching on here, the sizes I have it narrowed to would be the following: 255/35/18 with 295/30/18 OR 255/35/18 with 285/30/18 OR 245/40/18 with 285/35/18 Thoughts?!? Thanks everyone!

Not a huge fan of 40 series 18's in the front either as I've read they tend to rub on turns. The point of these wheels is to improve the look without taking away practicality/drivability.

I'm having trouble with something. I've done willtheyfit, and googled. Most threads with people talking about 16's are so old, the pic links don't work anymore. Kind of leaning towards 225... but I figured I'd check here before I pull the trigger.
Rears I'm wanting to go 255/50 on 16x8.5 The fronts are 16x7.5, and I'm trying to figure out if 215/50 or 225/50 would match the bulge of the rear. The 7.5/8.5 is the true measurement from inside of bead to inside of bead, not the total width. |

Anyone have any experience with running Kumho XS? Do they run fat or skinny? Looking at some 315/30's for my 18x12 Rezax. I know a 305/35 or a 335/30 are a better choice but I'd like to keep the overall diameter under 25.5". I know NT01 look good and not over stretched but they don't offer a tire sized in what I want for the front.

R33 GTR wheels 17x9 +30. 245/40R17 tires on all four corners. Put 2.5 mm spacers on the front since knock on weights were hitting the struts. Lowered on Tein S-tech springs.

Received my blitz back from threepiece. They're now 17x9.5 +26 and 17x10.5 +26, one of the issues I'm running into is I have Z32 brakes, which cause the fronts not to clear the calipers. Any suggestions on what size spacer to run? I would be running stock front fenders, but I have no issues with rolling/pulling or even running larger fenders.
As for the rears they fit with no issues really, but the lip of the inner barrel is very very very close to rubbing the inner fender well. I'm sure I'll need to run a rear spacer also, but still don't know what size either. Any suggestion on what size tires I should be able to run with my stock fenders? I have no issues pulling and rolling them! Everyone I talk to keeps suggesting 235/40 for the rears but in not trying to stretch my tires. Pics for the people! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by drfftn; 09-21-2017 at 09:37 AM.. |

255F & 285R minimum, can probably get a 305 wide tire on the back.
Spoke design effects brake caliper clearance more than raw offset numbers. Use the smallest spacer you need to create clearance, a 5mm or 10mm should be plenty. Z32 calipers aren't exactly huge. |

Thank you for your suggestion! I failed to mention that the set up is going on a 550+whp ls3 s13. I was thinking of doing 255/40/17 for the front and 285/40/17 for the rears. Cannot find any tires that are 295 in 17's that aren't slicks. |

Alright guys I got a new set of wheels for my s14 and am in need of some tires. The car will be predominantly a street car with very light track duty. Also, the car will be very low, and yes I have completely revamped the suspension to accomodate. Not looking to run stupid amounts of negative camber either. -4 degrees in the front and -2 in the rear is about the max I want to push it.
Specs: 40mm Front fenders 50mm Rear Overs 18X10 -6 effective with 15mm spacer to clear z32 Brakes 18X11 +14 effective with 5mm spacer to clear brakes After a lot of research I have narrowed it down to 265/35r18 fronts and 285/35 or 285/30 rears. Need a minimal stretch in order to clear fenders being as low as I am. Want something that will keep my speedo reading correctly as well. Also, planning to run Continental Extreme Contact DW's if anyone has any first hand experience with those. Please let me know if I will run into any issues with these sizes or if someone has some better suggestions, Im all ears. Thanx, Cameron |
