![]() ok ive tried and searched the forums but couldnt find any how tos on installing a apex tt and blitz boost controller
i have the harness for the tt.. now what??? and i only have the boost controller .. is the dual selanoid one.. how ever you spell it.. some one please help me out i have a 98 s14 se with redtop sr20 freshly installed yesterday |

if u have the harness, it should be easy installing the TT. check apexi site and they should have it.
took me about 30 mins

Since you have the harness it isn't that hard. under the dash is ignition harness that plugs right into it.
After that ground out the wire on the ebrake handle, or to a ground. Set the tt and enjoy.

The turbo timer needs constant 12V(+), ground, inline connection between the ignition switch and the ignition wire, and usually a handbrake switch.
Power can be tapped at the ignition switch harness, but it's better if you can pull it straight from the battery via 12 gauge or thicker wire and a fuse appropriate for the turbo timer. If the turbo timer can't handle 30A or more than you'll need a relay. I don't like those turbo timer harnesses because they tap power at the ignition switch, which increases the load of the ignition switch circuit, which could blow the ignition switch's 30A fuse. As for the boost controller, typical installation includes providing constant power and/or switched power. The vacuum connection goes between the vacuum source and your wastegate. Check with the manufacturer for specific wire colours. |
