To clarify... Nobody just gives a five year old a gun. A lot went into that. He's lucky to have grandparents and parents that are willing to put forth that kind of effort.

im not really for the kid having a gun, at his age all i had was water guns...

Getting a kid early involved in sports is great, all the big stars came from youth sports, even F1 racers etc.. but giving a kid the power to take away a life?? I dont know about that...

I dont think they should be celebratign and congradulating him for this.. it would lead him with the desire to shoot at bigger things/things with more value..

but i guess as long as the parents are responsibly raising him it might be ok.. I would think with that experience he would end up in the military and putting those skills to work someday..

just hope he doesnt turn rotten.
