I believe Ravspec is doing a group buy on Moonface items right now

I remember someone posting in the rare s chassis thread about having these. You might want to check there and ask them. I think they should be good with as well as the MFR S15 performs.

Looks like re-colored Silk Roads to me:

Bracket designs are pretty much the same, although the MFR's fronts aren't slotted. Both are 8-way damping adjustable. MFR's rear spring rates are also progressive, Silk Road's are linear. There are probably other little differences besides color, but they are more or less the same, especially the dampers. Valving is probably different to accomodate the different spring rates.

That's cool, though. Silk Roads aren't bad by any means, and I've seen the MFR's go for cheaper... but these are nothing new, IMO.

I could also say they look like megan racing coilovers but are painted different, have different spring rates, have different coilover perches but are basically the same except have different valving to accomodate the different types of springs...

In other words what im trying to say is, what are you trying to say? a coilover is a coilover? We know that.....

those coilovers look really nice...can't believe nobody has them here

who cares how it looks? megan's dont look bad either nor ksport coilovers. it's performance that matters.. besides, coilovers get messy under the wheel well and you never see them too.

The point I was trying to make is that they are probably manufactured in the same place by the same people as the Silk Roads and are probably of similar quality. It's not like this hasn't been done before (i.e. Megans and Apexi ExVs... Apexi seems to have no reason to share a damper platform with Megan, but they do... not to mention the various Korean-made systems). If you have eyes, the similarities are obvious:

Same brackets and bodies, same adjusters. More than likely the valving and inside components are similar, as well.

Just a theory on what to expect, that's all... no need for some people to get sandy vaginas over it... people act like it's a bad thing. Silk Roads are decent, and if these are the same but cheaper, what is there to lose?

It's just something I noticed, I don't mean to piss in people's Cheerios.

They are not re-colored Silk Roads

Trust me on this

But honestly it's a really futile argument/discussion that doesn't need to go down

Either way, the answer for the OP looks like a resounding yes for MFR
