I'm hoping it hadn't been dry or very low for a very long period of time. There is also the possibility that oddly-coincidentally you got a fuel delivery problem today. How was it driving weird? Did your engine sound different than normal, other than the "chugging"? Where is your oil leak (front cover, oil pan, rear main seal, etc)?
