im lookin for a guy named pokey. he use to work at expo motors. that wack ass over priced 240 shitbox distribution center,.... but that is where i got my coupe from lol. that dude is cool though, and i know that those prices wernt his falt. i need to halla at him. i know that he has some hommies on this fourm. so if u know him hook me up with him. or just tell him a African guy that bought a black s13coupe. that got an sr on the side.

so wusp wit EXPO? i live like down the street...by Lillys and i always ponder of buying from them...i know they price there 240s soo freakin high...even the truenos...but is work on them worth the price??

and also i heard that when u buy a car from them...that same night..theyll try to steal it back and color it another color and sell it the next day?!?? wusup wit that!?!!

I don't know enough about EXPO but, couple of guys that I know got cars there and it wasn't a good experience.

LOL @ Expo.

I pass by that place almost weekly, my buddy's shop is just down the street. From the first time I've seen that place, the first thing I noticed were the ae86's and s13's w/ silvia fronts they had on display, all with fresh paint. It just screamed "drift tax"... 8K for a bone stock sr-5 rolla? That means that paint job was worth, what... 7500?

nope never heard of Pokey but ive seen the prices at both Expo and Proto.. freakin' insane, 3000 for a red 240 hatch that could not even be put into gear at proto.. and expo with their dirty ass single slammers with equally dirty interiors and 4x4 ride height for and arm and a leg, such a shame they dont help out instead of tryin' to rip off someone who might barely be getting in the scene and doesnt know any better.

i was a proto one day when a guy was test driving a 240hatch and it wouldnt go into gear.

expo sold me a car with fresh paint a silvia frontend and an s13 frontclip. did the swap myself, and the motor had a rod knock with the timing at 15deg, it didnt knock while timing was retarded. i drove it till it knocked. i pulled that motor and tosed it in the garage, and dropped another one in. i think i got the nicest one that i saw there. i wish i could show u guys a pic of it, but its too big. and i cant figure out how to shrink it.

is that the one on Lakewood blvd?

LOL... same deal.. lol. Overpriced "drift" cars...

on top of that, the owners are Cambodian.. just like Expo.. I'm starting to think that they're in the same business with each other or somethign
