SR SR Turbo Intake Nipples

Hey Guys,

I put an intake in the other day and I'm left with two nipples on it on the open. So I think is for a recirculating BOV or something but here is a pic.

Thanks

The one on the right could be for your BOV recirc, or catch can (whichever isn't already attached to the bung you didn't circle). The circled bung on the left...don't know what that one's for. Plug it with a vacuum cap if you don't need it.

Is that a K&N brand intake pipe, or something else?

Also, what's that filter part #? Did it come with the MAF intake pipe adapter?

that's a vac linie for your WG actuator or boost controller. that's pretty cool it has a nipple on it.

EDIT: oh crap, it's pre-turbo, no boost source, i'm retarded

Yeah. The kit came just like that. The only problem with it is that the adapter to the K&N filter is for the SR Stock MAF. I'm using the SOHC maf from the KA and had to drill some holes to adap it. I don't have a BOV so can I just seal the other nipple?

just plug the small bung.. you don't need it. the other one is the for the intake hose running from the stock catch can setup.. You can either use it the way it was intended to be ran from the factory or use it as a opportunity to recirculate your BOV to it and figure out another setup for your catch can..

hope this helps
