manifold

does anyone know what material the factory ka24de exhaust manifold is made from? cast iron, cast steel , etc

Cast iron... 99.8% sure. I couldn't weld that crap on the weldingest day of my life with an automated welding machine.

It is cast iron...100% sure.

I was looking into doing a custom turbo setup with a modified stock. Took one look and said nope.

Definitely cast iron, and i've got an extra S14 one if anyone needs it :P

You can weld it, just need to heat it to like 900 degrees IIRC. Blowtorch could probably do that.
