Where is that located, and what price?
That looks like an s13 silvia with nice rims. That circled damage isn't that bad...
If it's a reasonable price, get it.

Didn't see that second pic before I posted. That's a silvia, and you bieng in Canada (according to what's listed in your profile), will never get that car. You can't import it and register it if Canada is anything like America.

two things i need for my car
LongChamp Xr-4s (someone hook me up)
Bride Brix (coming march/april finally..took forever)

those are JdM mAd TyTe yO
you can do that same look yourself
buy a coupe. 89/90 for the two tone and then a silvia front end and blammo. you got the look. then swap engines get some suspension and soon enough, you'd have pretty much the 'same' car. sweet.

240sx is USA for all (s13, s14)
s13 is coupe and fastback. it is chassis code
you will see a lot:
"RPS13"
R=fastback
P=SR motor
S=chassis
13=model
sil80 is a fastback body w/ a Coupe (japan coupe) front end on it
onevia is a coupe w/ a 180sx (stock usa) front end
1580 is a s15 frontend on a fastback
1480 is a s14 frontend on a fastback
180sx is a fastback (japan car's name-200sx in europe)
s14a is a kouki (late model) 97/98 car (a=afterchange)
s14b is a zenki 95/96 model
s14 is chassis code for the above 2
s15 is not available in USA or Canada but it is the last S-chassis car produced

i know people dispute the "b" and "a" thing just make sure you say "zenki" or "kouki" to save a flame war.

and use the search mode first before posting

i think i got it covered.
oh all US and Canada models were "onevias" as far as coupes are concerned
no kouki 180sx (body style)
SR20dets are illegal in either country no matter what
you can fit s14 seats in s13s straight bolt in rear takes work
5 lug is not required for coilovers or z brakes
z32 brakes are straight bolt on
lug patterns are 4x114.3 for s13s and s14s (4 lug models)
and 5x114.3 for 5 lug s14s
the widest tire recommended on a stock steely/alloy for s13s is 215/60/15
camber does not kill tires, toe does
drifting is not sliding.
VLSD is a worthy upgrade, but LSD is much better
use the FAQ section a lot too, it is a valuable source
5 lug swap for s13 is
s14 hubs and spindles
drill
rotors redrilled or s14 brakes and rotors
s14 ball joint in s13 LCA
rear is
z32 na hubs or s14 hubs
redrilled or s14 brakes and rotors
coilovers are expensive and not for everyone
7" with a +40 offset looks like ass
sparco seat rails suck, they are designed for universal use (sliders are)

i think i hit all the newb questiosn for the most part
we need a thread like this in FAQ!!!

yes, im very bored at work.

a really big difference between 11-13. Just get a Supra TT and your already in the 13's, and there so easy to modify, you'll get into the 11s with east. Plus it would be cheaper.

Sounds like a slick enough plan. . . but wouldn't it be cheaper just to do that work on an s13? KAs aren't that difficult to swap for CAs or SRs. As most of us figger, the only reason to import a silvia is for the name, or for it's lhd setup. . . If you're mainly looking at timeslips, I'd recommend you just start with a CDM s13 and build from there. Just a suggestion

And dousan: nice post, you are obviously overpaid at your work ;-)

It's not possible to import a skyline in canada... I believe this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. You can't even import a S13 or any car that doesn't have a approved engine... UNLESS: it's 15 years old.
