How to tell Nismo VS Stock
How do you tell a nismo from a stock mount? The tranny AND motor mounts look identical to the factory ones IMO. WTF is the difference and how do you tell?

The Nismo ones are cheaper and have nicer packaging. i have no idea if they are actually better.

For the mounts, iirc, if you look at them side by side, the nismo ones should have more areas filled in. Doesnt have as much openings and gaps like the OEM ones. Most people make the stockies stiffer by stuffing the gaps and openings with polyurethane. Nismo just added more rubber i think.
Again this is what I vaguely remember from changing to nismo mounts back in 03. |

I couldn't tell any difference when side by side. I guess i'll have to double check, but thats basically why i posted this...lol.
I mixed up some Nismo mounts with factory mounts and don't know whats what. |

I just installed some nismo mounts.
the difference is that they are really stiffer than stock, they look identical, yet are a much harder rubber and filled You can twist and flex stock OEM mounts new and moreso used ones with your hands YOU CANNOT TWIST AND FLEX NISMO MOUNTS with your hands thats the difference IMO, worth every cent, engine doesn't shimmy and my sparco now has vibration massage mode! ![]() |

your opinion means shit, proof is what matters
the mounts are different. I compared side by side Nismo mounts vs OEM stock mounts. BIG difference in material control arms, tension rods, braces, are simply structurally re-inforced stock parts with harder bushings. to say that Nismo is factory, is proving your an ignoramous |

I'm sure you dont really understand what im talking about so let me break it down barney style for you. oem uses rubber. nismo uses rubber. so nismo = oem. So my statement for saying that nismo is factory. it basically is, jackass. unless they use anything besides rubber, its still factory. polyurethane or straight solid aluminum = NOT factory. THAT IS MY OPINON. and who the hell are you to say that my opinion means shit? dick |

I am interested in these S14 Nismo front control arms, they look exactly the same but silver with nismo logo on it, does anyone run them or know if they exceed OEM standards? Thanks.

last time i checked the rubber was hard as hell, and it seems to be filled in more. press your fingers into it and then do the same to a stock. huge difference.

So by your logic, my oem wheels are aluminum, and my sparco's are also aluminum. BAM I have FACTORY SPARCOS!!! You're a winner bro.
