Are you reusing the stock clutch pedal assembly and hydraulics?
On my S13 with T5, I reused the stock master cylinder. We had to completely remove the clutch pedal stopper bolt and bracket (cut if off) in order to adjust the master cylinder rod all the way to give enough pedal travel to completely disengage the clutch. Even with that, I still have grinding in reverse. Feels like the clutch is almost not quite disengaged. |

If you look where the back of the clutch pedal is, on the back there is a stopper bolt. The stopper bolt is bolted onto the clutch pedal bracket. So even if you removed the bolt and let the clutch pedal extend completely, the pedal will hit the bracket. All I did was cut off the bracket and let the clutch pedal extend as far as the spring and master cylinder will let it go. There really wasn't any other way to reuse the stock master and have enough fluid be pushed to move the T5 slave with the stock pedal travel. |
