Both KA and SR alternators have the same wiring. The 2pin plug may have different color/gauge wires, but it simply plugs right in to the socket on the unit. It's as simple as installing the old one, no matter what model/type you're using.
The black 10 gauge wire with a ring terminal is the ground, it bolts right to the fusebox anchor on S13s, behind the fusebox on the fender apron on S14s. On the alternator it bolts anywhere to the case, doesn't matter. There's a threaded hole for it but you can bolt it to the one of the nuts securing the two halves of the case also. That leaves the larger 8 gauge wire, the charging wire. It bolts to the stud on the unit sticking out with a plastic insulator, if the insulator is broken it will ground out and blow the main use. This then goes to the fusebox. The main 100A fuse in the S14 is bolted in, the block itself snaps out and then you can see the bolt on either side that secures it. There's plenty of discussion on this before.
