You should probably ask Motorex and see if the engine from one of their cars would be legal for your car. It would seem likely, since they have already installed all of the smog/emissions equipment for the engine that would allow it to be street legal. I would probably ask them IF you are SERIOUS about doing the swap and not just a pipe dream.
