The gas that you would have to use yourself for the trip.

100 gallons ain't much to bring back.

It'll just look funny if you were to do it in 5 gallon cans.

But if you could put it into 2 55 gallons drums then that would be easier.

You have to find out the exact pricing if the gas that you will be purchasing from and location.

I would also question the quality of it.

Call border patrol and homeland security to see if its even legal to do so.

I doubt that your the first person to think of the idea either.

From what i hear its legal to bring a certain amount of gallons, from what i remeber i was told about 100 gallons, gotta research that up again.

if its one of those tow along 250-300 gallon gas containers that is used in the farm industry chances are you will be taxed on it

if its in a 100-200 gal aux. gas tanks in the big 450 duty trucks then you could sneak it by.

but the thing is, if you get cought you will probably end up paying 50-100x in taxation like the guy who drove his bio diesel for 5000 miles and ended up having to pay like... 52k in taxation and like an EPA fine that was like something like 200k. But then again they just did it to make an example out of him.

Maybe if you had a fleet of workers all doing the same thing, but I'm pretty sure that this is something the border patrol would be on the lookout for, might even be illegal. If you arent opposed to breaking the law, then get a tanker truck that holds several hundred gallons and smuggle it over.

cost of transporting it to buyers, maybe another 10 gal... so like... $25

then driving home... like another 5 gal so like... $12.5

so out of the $150 you made, you get to take home $92.5~ for 8-15 hours
a regular $12 job will make you $96@8 hours before taxes

just get another part time or full time job.
