We don't have kids yet, but this is pretty much what we're anticipating. We're figuring that with boys, it would definitely be hectic, but it may ultimately be more difficult with girls.
Meaning, if you have three sons, the house would be crazy all the time and your challenge would be just getting them to sit down and shut up. Not an
easy task, but a fundamentally simple one. Whereas if you have three daughters, there won't be as much chaos, but girl-related problems are more complicated (especially into the teenage years) and therefore might be more difficult overall.
This is all just a big hypothesis though
