WTF!!! flow not dictated by fuel temperature and ambient temperature. flow dictated by the ecu. cars gotta be at complete stop or constant speed shit if it was like that then the canister would be flooded with fuel making the car run RICH as fuck. come on think about fuel constantly moving round the tank and it can be sucked by the vaccum causing the canister to flood its only made to handle the fumes that are made in the tank.

incorrect 1996 was the year it was required by fucking government to have OBD II. there were cars that had OBD II before it was required such as like the first manuf. to use it was toyota in 94 and ford.

Um, no. You must be a fucking moron. The canister does not ever filter raw fuel. The canister is used to dispose of vapors in the tank, nothing more. There is nowhere near enough vacuum from the engine to actually pull fluid from the tank into the intake manifold, and there's a check valve off the tank that keeps fluid from going through anyway.
OBD-II cars do not use a basic vacuum canister, nor is it dependent solely on vacuum, it's controlled by other inputs from various sensors to the ECU, and then to the canister's purge solenoid. Read an FSM and get your head out of your ass.
