Sunroof Question

hi, my 91 240sx has a manual sunroof and i want to make it a power one. there is a complete kit on ebay and was wondering if it would bolt right in or not? here is the kit i was looking at....eBay Motors: NISSAN 240SX KA24DE POWER SUNROOF ASSEMBLY COMPLETE (item 220279311872 end time Oct-08-08 20:55:01 PDT)

That's a coupe sunroof assembly, won't fit. The roof curvature is completely different. Since your roof is so short and you already have an existing hole you'd have to put in a pop-up electric roof that slides up over, not in. There's no other way to do it.

did the factory make an electric sunroof for the hatch also? or did they just make it for the coupe?

Coupe only. The fastback got the failroof. Only thing its good for is taking it off and leaving it in the garage... like a halfassed targa.

Exactly. The fastback roof is actually better since it's larger, the coupe roof, although nice, is really small.

I really like the coupes. I'm considering selling my s14 or trading it in order to get a coupe with the silvia conversion.
