short hub
i purchased a circuit sport short hub from phase 2 motortrend recently..i was wondering if anyone has any problem with installing the hub.
the hub does not sit all the way down even when the nut is properly torqued. it seems like the steering column flares bigger and the hub does not have that flare/gets wider. |

I kinda have the same problem with my WORKS BELL regular sized hub too.
I know it doesn't sit all the way down because the horn and cruise control contact rods from the steering column don't reach the back of the hub, rendering them useless (not that I'm using cruise control buttons, but still). Just for clarification, my car is a 91 automatic SE, converted to manual. |
