back tattoo's are the best for an artist. Big canvas for work to be done.

ant is right. The back is the biggest flat area to work on. Whether it be a guy or girl i think thats the best place to do some work. Everyone gets one on the bicep but theres only so much u can do there and its hard to hide it if u ever need to.
