s13 sr shifter parts(what do i need)

Ok i was modifying my shifter today and came across a weird dilemma. I was cutting the stock shofter while it was in the car to change the angle of it to fit the rx8 and the shifter popped out.. i have never removed the shifter before so im not to sure what all hold it together. what was in there is a small palstic ring that was on top and the shifter was sitting in the white cup with the two pegs in it. there was a snap ring on top of it all but it seems to small to snap into anything. i have 2 pics of the assembly i took out and the 3 parts that came out with it. im not to familar with the sr trans and i know there cant be to much to it. wanna help me out here guys?

There's another larger snap ring. Yours seems to have gone away. You're also missing the wave washer that sits below the pivot.

I just messed with mine yesterday.. removed it to pour in new fluid.

it's the c-clip that holds it in, you will need snap ring pliers to remove and put it back on available at sears or an autostore

yeah its the c clip. i had mine come out when i was driving... but i fixed it, and later bought a b&m short shifter. you know i have a shifter thing for sale in my sale thread, for $15 with free shipping, if you want an extra one in case this one doesn't work for you

KA transmission is the exact same so you can use KA parts. You knew that.
