Simple solution to the CAI in the rain- TAKE OFF THE EXTENSION COME FALL!!! PUT BACK ON IN SPRING!!! It takes all of 20 minutes to do. They're a two piece design so there is no cutting involved. Make a small thing such a big deal.

You have to practically drive through a lake to suck up that much water, seriously why is everyone so worried about the "short ram" versus a "regular" cold air intake. This whole thread is full of fail...

If you live where I do, the roads aren't exactly smooth. I used to have to take the CAE off in the winter since this one stretch of road by my house would flood a little. pretty fun to drive through fast, water would spray everywhere!
