these friggin corolla comercials are pissing me off.  they keep advertising that the car is fun and sporty.  reality check...its a corolla.  it has twist beam axle suspension in the back.  no fun there.  its got a weak engine and soft suspension.  its comforable not fun i wanna go beat up the marketing guy who thought this whole advertising sceme up!

I honestly wouldn't say that the car is NOT comfortable.  The car they are advertising is the 2003 Corolla--and it looks 100% redesigned.  I don't believe it's even being sold as of yet.  It does look a LOT better than the current ones and I am really curious to see what they would be like in real life.  I'm sure they have improved on the interior confort and ergonomics, like they have everything else on the car.  I am impressed so far.  And I kinda like the commercials--very original and definitely geared towards the young drivers of today.

im not bashing the car and saying its a shitty car i just dont like the fact that theyre playing it off as a "sporty" car when clearly its not.  yeh the ae86 was/is an awsome car and it was hella fun and it can be pretty fast but toyota took all the fun outa it.

I think the 2003 Corolla Type-S is pretty nice looking.

They had one at the Canadian International Auto Show a few weeks ago.  That, and a done-up Matrix.

u know i heard they have 130hp, and come in 5 speed...
the S versionn (i heard) has a sporty sespension andits1 inch and 1/4 lower than the others....man its gonna be competition for civics and lancers(go hate on misubishi then, and mazda for zoom zoom)(but please dont hate on toyota, the make great cars)(personal opinion) with that VVtti
