ahhh canceling. SOunds so fun. I hate you. I dont own the game either, so I cant practice canceling. But I pick these kind of stuff up quick. 2nd time playing, and Im pretty used to the game play.

Gotta get used to this focus cancel stuff. Seems so useful. Unlimited potential.

i've just been playing with sakura and ryu

its mainly trouble with timing blocks + along with dealing with projectile spams or dhalisms jump plus long stretchy arms slamming straight down to you

its either i can't get in close enough or i can't get far enough

i understand the concepts of crossups and how the blocking system works standing or crouching

idk i just must not be too good at fighting games or every person ive faced online is srk

seriously, just learn how to pressure teh shit outta people.

With Ryu, Fireball, dash in, and Focus, be ready to dash again, or follow through.

WakeUp SRK's are really dumb, easily punished.

Regardless of who you're playing with/against, be ready for teh wake up throw. not too many people know how to do it right, but its spammed like crazy. Ever play an OichioThrowing Honda? Painful. Either jump up, or catch them first. WakingUp people have throw priority, so do it faster than them.

learning to combo into a Super is a bit of a challenge at first, but with Ryu/Ken/Shotokan guys, its a bit easier because the hit range is so damn present. Its harder with Abel, IMHO.

FADC's (Focus Attack Dash Cancel) are your new best friend. Absorb a hit, and immediately dash forward or back out of it. Your health will regenerate, just keep the pressure on.

If you wanna dominate on ranked matches, stick with Zangief. as the match starts, BanishingFist, cancel, SPD. Wash, rinse, repeat.

i know one guy who does. Then again I just laugh at the fact hes so determined to get good with Fei Long.

You try going to the shoryuken (spelling?) forums? They have a board for just about every game and then a subboard for every character.

Fei Long is something else.

His Rekka's cover good ground, but against a Sagat player, he can easily punish just about anyone.

Make sure you use his (dnno what the kick name is). Its the attack that makes you do a little more than the HCF motion. The EX version can go through fireballs i think. Lemme check.

SRK is an amazing forum, but i hate its stability, or lack there of. Server Busy all day long.

just got the game for ps3 saturday and its awesome..... but how do u get the differnt outfits? i.v seen screen shots of characters in differnt outfits and want to know how to unlock the alternate fits.

so these are the only parts i need to order and itll work with my hori? im afraid if i open it up it might ruin the calibration. Oh yea i lvoe the turbo function, I can just leave it on and choose blanka and win the game without ever pressing a button lol.

It was well worth the money imo. Because I can't stand playing on Japanese sticks. They're movements are waay too small of increments.

But that site you posted does have some good stuff. I was going to buy my stuff from there awhile back.
