SOHC burning oil....
ok i recently got a valve job. got the car running. everything seems fine but it burns oil. the engine is practically new. new rings, bearings, pcv valve, etc. i compression tested it. 155 all across. could this be coming from the head ? bad valve seals maybe ? arent machine shops suppose to change the seals when you get a valve job? i really doubt its burning from the block. any ideas ?

Preform a leak down test
Machine shops will only replace if you tell them to or if you give them the parts did you pay for valve seals to be replaced? if not then more than likely they were not replaced.
