kazama tension rod

I just installed my Kazama Tension Rods the other day because my old bushings were shot. After the install, i took it out for a test ride and I was suprised how they felt. I was reading up on them before i bought them and it seems like everyone was saying the ride would be harsh. Personally, I don't feel it's harsh AT ALL. It seems so UNharsh, I'm thinking i may have installed them incorrectly. After the install, i took my car to firestone for an allignment. I told them about my tension rods and asked if they could adjust them for me. They said they would, but when i got the car back, it didn't seem like they touched them. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone with tension rods could help me out. Did i install them incorrectly? or are they not adjusted accordingly? I know what they do, but I don't know exactly HOW to adjust them. Is that big screw supposed to be closer to the control arm? or closer to the tension rod bracket like it is now? I'm not feeling a great difference between stock and these rods...

looks to be installed correctly.

i usually leave the big nut in the middle. this way you can add/remove caster.
like that you can do it too but when you turn it it will pull both sides in or push both sides out.

if you only care about stock caster, the its fine how it is.

yeah its not harsh but you will get some mroe road bumpies and such..u will notice it if you do some hard driving. but doesnt matter, excellent upgrade.

so...the way it is right now...if i were to move the nut towards the control arm...would that add or subtract caster?

towards the control arm....add caster. pull the wheels forward. that's good to do. mines at like 8 degrees? i think stock is 5 degrees.

but i have no fender lining too. if you adjust it quite a bit, you'll need to pull the lining and be wary of your tire/wheel sizes.
