I know, alot of people say...it is just a car, be happy...but 240SX's are a kind of religion to some...and really, you can get a tranny, jack stands, tools and a floor jack and put it in for about 1/2 it would cost to let someone else do it and learn the whole time..

You may get another 30K miles out of it if you baby it..but that takes the fun out of a 240SX. I drove on NO bearings in a MAZDA truck for like 20K miles...what a racket it made...but kept on going, metal hunks and all..(until one of them went through the side of the tranny...then I patched it with JB weld and kept abusing)

If you want to unload it cheap, I am in South Florida...

At your miliage, you should expect it. How many times have you changed it's fluid?
