s13 i hate my seats

I have an s13 my seats suck and I would like to change them. Other that the s14 seats what kinds of seats can I use without having to make any modifications (straight bolt on)? After market seats are nice but I can't afford them. So lets say for example would a maximas seat fit in the s13. I will probably go to a junkyard to get my "new" pair so which cars should I look out for. I liked the seats of camaro I sat in once (I know it's sad) but if could get rid of the seats the car would look a whole lot better.

Well skyline seats arent that expensive and they generally come with rails. Three of the four bolts atatching the seat (rail) to the car bolt straight up, and one bolt just needs to be extended for it to fit. R33 seats and R34 are my favorite.

When ever i upgrade seats in the future i plan on going recaro, sparco or bride ( i wish ) but only for the driver seat dont want to spend extra money for the passenger. Ill probably upgrade the passanger to S14 seats or whatever.

Thank you for the replies but i doubt i will find any of the seats you mentioned in a junkyard please keep that in mind. Recaro's are very nice but $$$ which i don't have a lot of right now. Will other nissan seats fit what about other car makes. or is it that diffrent seats have diffrent mounting points hence the s14 upgrade

Thanks

ok i lay it out simple for you

s13, s14, s15, skyline (r32, r33, r34)

all interchangeable with NO to little modification

EVERYTHING ELSE WILL REQUIRE MODIFICATION
if it is not one of the above YOU MUST MODIFY IT

dont come back asking if teg type r seats fit w/o modification. if its not the above cars, u MUST modify it to fit. how much depends on the seat rail design.

quite a bit
iirc, 4 bolts, lay flat down on the floor, no cat hump to worry about too. so teh rails are flat.
i can look tonight. working w/ my friend on his Z32tt after work. got the seats sitting in the house

and there are no onevias in us junkyard
onevia is a
180sx front
silvia rear end

usa only has 240sx coupes and 240sx fastback.

all you need to fab some brackets is some thick steel plate drill holes for the seat bolts and holes for the slider bolts bolt them thgether and you are finished good stock seats last gen f-body 93-up (get the lumbar system also under driver seat) used viper seats can be had at a rather low price, some 80's vintage mustangs had stock recaros, and I personally love CRX seats very cheap and comfortable

The 240SX rails might fit the Z seats, though.

The head, that procedure will result in a seating position that's way too high.

Yeah, I don't like them either. They look heavy also... all those adjustments.

I'm not seat picky, all I want is enough space under the headrest to mount my harnesses. Stupid monoform bucket.

I wonder if spec v seats would work? Then again you wont likely find them in a junkyard.
