I just installed my N1 last nite...i love the way it looks and it has a deep and loud tone to it. And I felt the throttle response, and the lowered back pressure rite away. I definitly didnt go with the wrong exhaust.

I believe the burnt smell is from the exhaust packing. Many manufactures out there uses fiberglass as the echaust package and when it gets heated up from driving around, initially, it gives off the burnt smell. Once all the fiberglass are gone, the smell will also be gone.
