The problems is that the dent's high enough on the quarterpanel to mess with overfender fitment. I think you should have it fixed by a paintless dent repair guy, shouldn't be too tough or expensive.

If you really want it to look perfect, and body shop will have to do it and repaint the panel.

I had a paintless dent guy look at it and use a suction cup to try and pull it out. He can't get behind it with a tool to pop it out. Doing over fenders I'll have to trim the fender wheels higher and when I do this I'll have access behind the panel to pop the dent out and then weld the lip back together. Just straight enough to get the over fender to fit smooth.

Trust me, I've done tonnnnns of overfender jobs, on all S-chassis. Cutting the fender for overfender installation will not give you enough room to bang that out unless you completely remove your inner QP also - then you'd have to make a whole other inner fender to replace it. You'll still probably notice it where the overfender meets the QP.

I'll think of something I guess. I kinda leaned widebody because I like the wider stance on a s13. Up in the air right now just undecided. That Jeep in the background I know exactly what I want to do to it and building up parts for when I build it bigger. The s13 I have the motor taken care of. I've swapped in a sr20. I wanna concentrate on the exterior and I know I want new bumpers and sideskirts. Just undecided about the quarter. If I do overs in the rear I need to replace to a wider fender in the front. I have 5lug conversion in the garage.

Just slowly piling parts up.

I think a 50 mm chargespeed one or style should cover up the spot, but you should try to pop it out as much as possible.

If thats the overs that actually cover the whole rear quarter and rivets are barely noticeably then those are the ones I was thinking about. They are around $500 a set but to me well worth it. I'm not a fan off getting the cheaper ones and having all the rivets showing and the overs not fitting near the panel gaps.

I'm having a similar problem, except on a car I'm probably going to buy. It has a quarter panel dent as seen in the pictures. Could it be covered with widebody or popped/bondoed? I was thinking about slapping on some overfenders but I'm not sure if it'll work due to where the dent is.

1. Heat up the dent with a heat gun.

2. Spray an upside down can of air duster on the dent.

3. Enjoy your fixed dent.

the over fenders will not cover it. it will cover a good part of it but u will still see it and they wont fit right. now there are a few ways to do this the right way would be to take it to a body shop, there going to hve to slid hamer the finder and bondo over it then paint and primer, worse case they have to cut out the peice and relpace it, but dosent look that bad. the cheeper way would be to take the wheel off and every thing else get to it, get a big rubber mallet go to town,(start in the middle of the dent, one good hit there and should fix but dont be a pussy u got to hit it! lol) then buy over fenders to cover then take to a body shop that dose fiberglass well and have them molded the fenders in. thos would prob be your best bets. I grew up in a auto body shop, and have bee doing it for many years, if u have any questions feel free to pm me. thanks and good luck

lets get real here. Your quarter panel has one dent. Its not major enough to warrant doing overfenders, unless you are absolutely in love with overfenders and its been your dream to put them on. Fix the damn dent! Shit my body guy would fix that for around $200.
With paint probably about $350-400.

pretty straight forward. if your interiors still in your gunna have to take the paneling off inside the hatch to reach it. its a tight fit but your hand should make it
