Hey guys i just installed my s14 sr20det black top into my 95 240sx and once i started the car it actually idled good, once i shut it off and started it back up, it wont even idle without dieing, car shakes and tons of black smoke is shooting out, ive tried messing with the idle control thing but the car keeps wanting to die, any help would be great

does it smell fuel?

could be a vacuum leak.

yeah what does it smell like. what happens if you throttle it when you start it

did you do a compression/leakdown test on the motor before or after you bought it? if not, id do that before anything else.
