Got a dog, need a seat cover for a S14 (98 SE).

Looking for something that is water proof and covers well, but easy to remove. My dog and I hit the dog park daily and he likes to get wet.

Keeping the seat clean and being easy to put on and off is primary to looking good, but I'd like something that matches a bit if possible.

Advance has a black set that looks ok for like $30, but I don't know how water proof it is and the lady there didn't either.

thanks

Just find some neoprene universal covers. Spray it with some Scotchguard waterproofing for added insurance. Carry extra towels in your trunk to remove as much moisture as you can, before the dog get's in.

awesome looking dog.

maybe try an outdoors store (cabelas/bass pro shop/etc) if there is one around you. they should have stuff for hunters and such.

or there is always google/ebay.

thanks...I have looked, trying to find someone with experience and a good recommendation on fit and finish though.

We do have Bass and a few other outdoor stores. I had also thought of having a Cordura one made up from a boat awning guy.

I know Petsmart has seat covers designed for dogs in mind. I think they have them for the front seats and rear bench seats. I know for sure they have the rear bench seat cover because I bought one so I don't have to hopelessly vacuum fur out of my tweed seats. They're waterproof by the way.

I can barely fit a body in there as it is, what fun will I have if he's taking up the room

I was looking for something more like seatshield.com stuff. Easy on and off and not permanent. I may just buy one of those...

check out Wet Okole:

Car Seat Covers | Waterproof Neoprene Automotive Seat Covers | Wet Okole Hawaii

I always see surfers using them. If you dont see your application, call them to see if they can custom make it. I met them when they made the template for the Nissan Cube and they were really quick and the fitment was pretty good

Checked out a seatshield locally...just what I wanted, it's sort of like a fitted towel more than a seat cover so it's easy to put on and remove.

They didn't have the elite version so I ordered online. His seatbelt doesn't come until monday anyway.

Fold down the back seat and be done with it!!! Thats what I do with my dog, she's not allowed in the front seat. Ill even slide the passenger seat forward and folded so she can stick her head out the window.

He is in one now, but he is outgrowing the biggest one that fits on my seat.

Those aren't really safe if you wreck though I found out.

The wetokle are popular down here in florida but I don't like neoprene.
