He was right on the dock, it's cylinder 3 and i have a blown HG. I asked him how he know. he said it very popular/comon on Sr head (cylinder 3) to feel like that when you have a blown HG.
Is it true what he said? All the S14 Sr20DET owners out there, do you have the same thing going on? feel like it cant be tighten down real good, very loose. and WHY?
THat is TOTAL BULLSHIT

Is this the same shop that installed your plugs?

It sounds like they or whoever installed the plugs FUCKED UP and stripped your head.

Loose Threads are not a symptom of a bad HG.

THey are a symptom of a a stripped spark plug threads PERIOD, whether or not that was caused by something else that is yet to be discovered.

Shitty this is eitehr way you have to pull the head to get this fixed.

Sounds like they were doing shaddy stuff to try to squeeze money out of you right now for a head job.

A lot of shops are doing really shaddy stuff trying to hustle right now due to the economy being slow. In fact the bigger the shop the shaddier they are right now it seems

Not trying to jump to conclusions but I would love to hear who installed the plugs last
