Yeah they really are odd-ball resolutions.
My laptop has that same 1366 x 768.
On such a small size screen, I doubt it would matter much.
Honestly don't know how ppl got by using primative 15" VGA monitors back in the day.

I just plug it into a larger monitor and change the resolution to 1600x1200.
Monitors are so cheap nowadays anyhow.
Small keyboards & those mouse touch pad thingies are torture as well.

People weren't doing as much at one time, nor were there people posting huge pictures on forums all the time.
Resolution is honestly the first thing I look for in laptops/monitors.
