Here's the new daily. Sitting on baby supras. 205/60/13s haha. I'd like to get some coils and give it a decent stance, but it's probably going to get a decent spring/strut combo for now.

Vert is still sitting mad high, I need to lower the back more and ditch the se's

for those of you that have your car this low, is it resonable to daily drive at this height if youre extra careful?

like on a daily basis, what usually scrapes?

It's not difficult. People just make it seem harder than it really is.

Daily drove at this height for a long time and never had problems.

Front bumper would scrape dips if I took them too fast. Also scraped driveways if I didn't angle it right.

Exhaust and frame rails scrape, but that's nothing new.

TC Rod brackets were bent to shit though from unexpected dips and massive holes.

Sway bar was shaved flat from the bottom as well from scraping so much.

You can daily with you car completely on the ground, I should know Iv done it. It helps alot if you know your city very well and just be super careful about dips and bumps in the road.

(shitty rake because I was waiting on new front tires.)

Balls of steel grow some. Helps if some stupidity is involved.

When dailying a slammed car be sure to:
Take dips slow when possible.
Avoid speedbumps.
Ride on the crown of the road (if your roads are shitty like the ones out here)
And most importantly, avoid road work where they have lowered the pavement, these mother fuckers kill oilpans.

^^ ya thats the only thing that has wounded my car in the 2+ yrs of DD'ing my car.

My car is pretty damn low. My downpipe needs to be raised though. Thats what scrapes the most. Theres a pic of it somewhere in this thread

I'll be lowering my car more once I get some better wheels. Jersey roads blow like it's no ones business, just have to be careful. My ride to work is almost undriveable. Don't be surprised if the people behind you hate you lol. I usually pull to the side and let them pass if the road is pretty thrashed.

We're talking about some pretty big obstacles here, right guys? I had my car slammed on Tein Super Drifts and it took a good 2in lip to bang my oil pan up, and not as bad as any of the above. What did you guys hit?

Skid plate + Nismo mounts and you'll be fine unless you drop off of a cliff, hahah.

I need a skid plate... I also need to order the MAX shorter springs when I get my 17s.

what do you guys think about the PSM skid plate will it hold up against that kind of carnage? since it's aluminum.

In my last S13 the oil pan would touch the ground just sitting there so i raised the engine almost 2 inches with spacers between the mount and crossmember and between the mount and the engine, had to cut the hood but there were no issues with the oil pan touching the ground.

Did you use washers to space them?

And if you did what size were they?
