![]() hey guys, im tearing my motor apart, and im in the process of taking the IM off. i have all of the bolts out, and the fuel rail/injectors are off. i can get it to move, but it seems like something is holding the lower half from moving. are there more bolts to take out?

ok ive got it off now. thanks for the help. on the lower half, there were 3 bolts attatched to the brackets, i took it off at the manifold, not the block. it just tok some prying and pulling to get the upper half over the studs in the lower.
another Q: on the lower manifold there are 2 sensors, one says AAC Valve, and the other has a blue lable, that says, nissan and JECS on it. what are these for, and when i sell the manifold are these usually included, or sold seperate? |

yeah there are some supports thaqt go from the block to the IM and the bolts are prety hidden on those. and you might have to pry to get it over the studs, or remove the studs. i used a big pry bar. it took tons of pulling and wiggling

just try no to gouge the surfaces too bad. this is probobly not the best way of doing it, but if you are careful it does the job. to be safe you can use a piece of cardboard or plastic betwen the bar and surface.
