Racing Seats? how far do I go??

What are you guys doing for seat belts if you have racing seats and no roll bar? Im familar with the racing seat mega-guide but it doesnt really address the belts as well as the seats.. I intend to use the oem seatbelts if possible..I would just stay stock (seats) for the time being but these seats are jacked and i want a solid nice bucket for track time..
What bucket seat recomendations are out there for me? Im 6'+ 190lbs..
Im interested in a cheap track bucket thats not shit..oh and a passenger..and seat belt guidance..please.
thanks.

Stock seatbelt is just fine, or none at all I guess. JDM style. What Would Koguchi Do?

wwkd haha

to the op, stock seatbelts are much better than some haggard 4point harness setup anyday. improperly mounting harnesses can be hazardous to your health.

Indeed, pretty much the only safe place to mount a harness is to a harness bar or roll cage.

thanks, I intend to re-install the factory type belts. I just didnt know if they'd fit after racing seats..
Are brides gonna be too small for me? I want a seat that isnt totally cramming my crotch/hips for space..

240sx fastback
sparco sprint w/wedge engineering seat bracket + sparco sliders (non fg-type seat/bottom mount)
using manual seatbelts

works perfectly fine.

Low-blow.

LOL

I have a 4 point Sparco harness sitting in my closet. I may just throw that in for events but for real, what's wrong with stock seat belts? If you don't have a harness bar/roll cage harnesses are too risky with mounting spots. If you mount them to the floor, you run the risk of breaking your back in the event of an accident. If you mount it to the c-pillar bar you run the risk of snapping your neck in the event of an accident. Stock seat belts mount up and hold just fine.

PS- I wouldn't call your car ready for events either, Mr. Open Diff. :P
