KA24E healthy?
I just bought a 1989 Nissan 240sx and I'm lovin' it. However it's the oldest model in it's generation and I'm a little concerned about the motor. It has about 180,XXX miles and it runs stong, so I figure it's still has some life. What should I do or give to my car to reassure it's dependency?

Keep up with the maintenance. Oil, filter, etc. Also if you really want to be safe you can install your own temp gauge that will give you an accurate temp reading. I've heard that the SOHC motors blow head gaskets very easily when they over heat.
