i think i should keep my car auto since i cant find a 5spd, no i dont want a s13 5spd, and just rebuild it, do some diff,driveshaft, subframe mods, gt35r turbo, then go 400-500whp, then embarrass a lot of people, that would be pretty fun

Why destory the Autotragic, when doing the nice 5 Speed swap will save you in the long run.. Besides, 400 - 500 on a Stock KA-DE Tranny? My Spidey senses are telling me a Grenading Transmission is soon to come..

Just do the crossover swap to a Z32 Transmission or Get a RB25 Tranny and remove the bellhousing and put your KA bellhousing on it and use that ... I mean crap if you can do that for a RB swap, I do not see why it can't be done for a KA-T ..

my buddy had a 98 automatic, super clean car and when the transmission took a dump he just swapped a kouki SR20 and converted it to manual. The swap is not that hard really, I think the only thing you're altering is the firewall when you punch out the factory plate for the clutch mater..everything else is a bolt on affair

well of course im not going to build the motor and keep it auto, i dont have tools to try and make another transmission fit, i know a lot fit, ive seen sr20 with ka bell housing, ill probably do that if nothing works out, but i just want it to drop in with all the sensors there and not having to have to drill a hole for one. i was thinking about selling my car and tried but need it for work, and a lot of people who drove my car says it runs strong and is pretty healthy, besides a small oil leak i cant find. everytime i step on the gas you get pushed back and my licence plate flies of the dash lol, thats what happens when it was grandma owned, i saw a lot of manual s14's but just because there 5spd there expensive and messed with, why do people want manuals? autos are usually clean,unmolested and if you have the tools you can make a lot of transmissions fit. and i kinda like my car, its all stock so i can build it, and if something goes wrong it would be easier to find the problem, if i bought the car with some mods, idk what the owner did, it would take a while to find out what the problem was you know what i mean? just gotta be patient, ill probably rebuild all suspension parts, like bushings, arms, coilovers, then when i drop in the 5spd it will be perfect
