How are the drifting physics? GT4 was super fail and it made me wanna kill myself. I still play GT3 from time to time to drift. I hope its legit.

This game is kind of confusing for me compared to the older gt games.... i wanted to start off with the sunday cup... and it doesnt let me drive ?

I've done about 8% so far (according to my profile). I have to say I'm actually surprised at how well the physics are done in this game.

This game in 1080p and 7.1 LPCM...WOW!!!! Damn it sounds so much better than any other GT. Standard cars do stick a bit which kind of sucks, and I think the menu system does need an overhaul, took like 5 minutes to get into an online race ( navigating ) and when I got in the room I couldn't join nor spectate.

Kaz said their are patches coming so hopefully some stuff will be "shortcutted"

In any case I'm quite happy with my purchase.

How do you actually race ???? ive got my B license and when ever i enter it wants me to choose a driver and have me tell commands .... im confused

go to A spec, Bspec is like coaching a computer driver.

For you G25/g27 users, make sure you configure your steering wheel right to get the hshifter and clutch working. Logitech G27 Guide - GTP Forums

It is not officially supported yet, hopefully they will update that
You got to select driving force pro, and jsut remap the buttons

some cars dont have interior, those are standard cars... the premium cars have more features like interior and minor damage.

Luckily my FC is premium weeeee

yeah how come your graphics look so good lol.. o mine it looks not that much better from gt4... I have HDMI cable so i was kind of dissapointed to be honest but it will do.

Man, must have spent hours coaching my dumb driver. He kept spinning my turbo miata so I tuned it with lots of undrrsteer.

waaaay better. You can actually control the car when its sliding, in gt4 it was so hard.

Do you get credits from online playing ? if so ima just play online. Usually i always finished the game before i play online but i wanna find a way to make more credits faster than just driving the sunday cup over and over lol.

soooo i was playing for a couple hours, just got the gtr-vspec and slapped some ce28s on it and was super happy...and i get an error message saying, "usb maximum power output reached" and now none of my usb ports work. gt5 FTL

Are you kidding me? its supposed to be a racing game, who the fuck races cars with the stock wheels? you really think wanting to be able to change the wheels on a car in a racing game that was delayed FIVE YEARS is too much to ask?

even on the cars you can change the wheels on (200 of the 1000) there are only like ten wheels to choose from. GT4 had like a 100. its like two steps forward one step back.

You don't buy this game for it's awesome wheel selection. You buy it to race awesome cars. I'm sorry that you can't put uber cool hellaflush wheels on your 240, go buy a better car in the game instead.

Personally I could not possibly care less about the standard cars in the game, I bought it for the premium cars anyways, I can choose between ~10 different sets of wheels, which is plenty for me.

I can't believe someone is actually judging the quality of the game based on something as trivial as wheel selection. If you want more wheels (but shittier driving physics) go play Forza.

There is a little news message right now that says they are getting more server traffic than expected and they are working to fix it. They recommend if you are having any problems just to disable connecting to the PSN for now.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed about this. Changing the wheels is like the first thing I do whenever I buy a car in the old gt games.
