grab a meter and check to see if you get full 12v at the ignition switch when you turn the key to on. Check the constant 12v power and check to see if the starter signal wire gets 12v when turning to the key to the cranking position. Then test the signal wire on the other end at the starter. My friend had a short in his starter signal wire and I had to run a new one for him.
