bumper quick disconnects?

Having been at the track lately, I've seen a few people using locking devices that attach their bumpers to the fenders/car. I've looked on a few safety equipment sites and can't seem to find them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Pegasus - Adjustable Toggle Latch with Strike Plate

I use these. Work fine with still using the stock fender studs as a dowel pin of sorts to locate the bumper.

i thought these are just quick release screws. I think op means latches and stuff

They sell latches at home depot. You can also just buy two "pegs" that have a chord that wraps around it. Kinda like an accordion folder. The cord then snaps when the bumper is hit

Basically ya they are quick release screws, but you have to rivet the inner piece to the body. But they work a lot better than latches and are usually cheaper. Plus look way better than a big bulky latch hanging out in the open. And are legal in all motor sports where latches are not

Self-Ejecting Dzus Fasteners

those are what attach to whatever is coming on/off (i.e. bumper side skirts etc.)

then you need to fab these (the back plate thingy on the right) in a position were the above product will fasten the item in questions to it...

https://randallmotorsport.ssl-01.com/images/welddd.jpg

i used them on the bumper of my old car, we actcually fabbed up braces that reenforced the fenders and incorparated somewhere to mount the back plates too (picture is tiny but you can search my old build thread for the how to)
