Yeah but the ZL1 is not a new designation is what I am saying. The ZL1 was a factory option in 69 with all aluminum head etc etc and a 427 engine that was built specificaly for street/drag... Basically a NHRA dragster that had a factory street warranty:

My point was that there won't be a Z28. Everyone thought it was going to be called a Z28 but they went with the ZL1 moniker instead.
