89 silvia door lock jammed.

I have an 89 s13 nissan silvia and the drivers door wont lock or unlock cant turn it in either direction. how do i go about fixing this?

use the right key. bwahahahaha but seriously you may need to disassemble and find the broken piece. or just replace with a new set.

^^^this, but before you dissasemble everything try spraying some pb blaster in the hole. Let it sit for 5 mins see if it helps. When i first got my car the locks were rusted as shit and i couldnt turn them without bending my keys.

my hatchback does this sometimes, I just work it back and forth with minimal force + some pb or wd..

at least our door panels are easy enough to remove = /

so Um..... the lock was just literally frozen. yeah that's what I get for being in Canada lol.
