Love this. Ka-ts are just as reliable as long as the owners arnt ebay whores. If they spent more then 400 bucks they can do wonders.

Question to those who are deleting/relocating the brake lines from on the firewall, instead of buying the $200 Chase bay's kit, couldn't i just get a few fittings and brake line from auto zone, and bend it in a 90° and go down to the crossmember and then over to where the rest of the lines going to the front passenger wheel and the rear wheels go?

3 10x1.0mm to 3an adapters from jegs/summit etc (9.99 for two) 1 90 degree 3an swivel ($10) - for rear brakes 1 18" 3an premade hose from ebay- for front driver side 2 52" (can be longer) 3an premade hoses from ebay - for rear and passenger 3 10mm to 3an banjo fittings with hardware (9.99 each) - for master cylinder I messed up and bought a 60" line (which is too long) and a 50" line because I thought the passenger side would need a longer length. But you can get away with 52" for both the rear and passenger. This is what I used to run across the crossmember. |
