I did disapprove your choice in color for paint before but I agree with you to an extent.

What they were trying to get you to see was that paint is USUALLY the last step in people's builds. It's usually because most people worry about the performance aspect of their cars before aesthetics, for the most part. But you're getting that done so I don't see much of a problem.
