Oh yes, I went to test drive a s14 with a sr20 in it and the guy had it vented to atmosphere and didnt have the right tune so the car would just shut off upon downshifting sometimes. I really would like to know what problems arise from having the bov on the hotside as well.

S13.4 Valve cover. You take an S14 Valve cover, cut off the front most part and replace it with an S13 Front. It has better baffling then the stock S13 Cover and bolts right on.

IIRC, Brian W. at MA Motorsports made the first few and Now Touge Factory has permission to make them as well.

I'd have to ask Chase what he's spent on it, but its really not that bad. The motors can be found for pretty cheap. I've seen entire wrecked/totaled 350Z's go for $1000.

Even if it was 6k, that'd be worth it. The motor is pretty light and doesn't have all its weight in front of the shock towers.

I for one <3 it and will be picking up the chase bays power steering setup ASAP. You guys ever look into an ITB setup for it? That intake pipe is killing me.

A friend that i work with is a fabricator by trade, this was his first time doing tube front ends and stuff though. he did a full front and rear end that is removable, custom hydro e brake bracket with handle, super low custom seat rails, the list goes on and on. it was 20-30 hours of fab work to do the entire car. the engine bay doesnt get too bad, can always pressure wash the motor though. I dont take it on the streets often.
