actually its faster if you shift an auto "manualy" your a few tenths of a second quicker because you can hold the gear for longer. but you gotta time it to the cars tranny when you do that becaues its not instant. it takes a second for the tranny to respond so you gotta know how fast your engine revs so you can anticipate it.  power braking is the best way which is when you hold the brake as hard as you can and press the gas.  then you let go of the brake.  using the ebrake is pointess because its the same brake the only thing it does is slow you down and.  you guys forget that the ebrake uses the same calipers as the regular brakes the only difference is that it has its own brake cable
